Molly and Chach's New Car

Molly and Chach got a new 2008 Subaru Outback about 3 weeks ago. Last night a couple 17 year-olds (the one driving didn't have a drivers licence) decided that it belonged up on top of their rock wall and in their front yard. Now that's unfortunate luck! The basketball in this picture shows where the front of the car was when Molly parked it.

Feeling Better

Eden has been sick with a fever since Sunday night, and honestly not the most joyful Child to be around. Yesterday after telling Mike and I "no" for EVERYTHING Mike told her she was "driving us nuts" and she looked at him and said very clearly, "nuts". Then when I told her it was time to go to bed she walked to our bedroom repating, " mess, mess, mess". She is a mess indeed.

So to prove to us that she was feeling better this morning she did this while I was in the shower:
nothing like a roll of toilet paper in the toilet prove your health.

Grandpa is here!

Grandpa came in on Thursday and we have had a great time! We started out with a trip to the zoo. Mike and I got a zoo pass a few weeks ago ($75 a year- what a deal!). Eden LOVES the zoo. Her favorite is feeding the goats- that was until this past trip when a goat nibbled her finger. We also went to the park a few times. Another favorite. I love the head tilt! She was going down a pretty big slide- over and over and over and over- when she'd finish she'd RUN over to me with the biggest smile on her face- my favorite picture. Walking with my Grandpa. Every time we're outside Eden tells us she's hot- she sweats profusely- poor girl. Here she is signing "hot". Not a fan of rocks in her shoes. Going up the ladder to the BIG slide. So, I'm not sure if you all can see it in the picture- but on Eden's right side of her mouth there is a molar that has been working it's way in for what feels like months (must feel like years to her)- you can see it just bulging there- so sad. And don't you love the pigtails- I do, she doesn't. It's been fun to have my grandpa here!

Over Labor day weekend we had some friends over and I never got around to posting pictures. Blakely was born the same day as Eden. They had a lot of fun and the girls actually played together so well that we could all sit and talk- a very enjoyable evening. Not sure what this face is- I will push you rather you like it or not! All smiles!
I fell in love w/ Blakely's dress- Mom I am borrowing it when you come so we can make a pattern from it for E

Sad news

I know that many of you are waiting to hear the outcome of Molly and Chach's IVF. Unfortunately they found out this afternoon that the blood test was negative. They don't know a whole lot more at the time. The nurse said that they could try again in November with the 6 eggs that were left and that they can schedule an appointment with the Dr. to discuss things further. They are both obviously upset, as we all are. Please continue to keep them in your prayers as they go through yet another disappointment. Thank you all and we love you.

Eggs are going back in!

Chach just sent a text saying that they are putting in 2 of the fertilized eggs @ 10:00 am. Please continue praying. From here Molly will continue her progesterone(?) shots and then they will take a pregnancy test in 2 weeks. We'll keep you posted. Thank you all for your comments and questions. IF you have more questions please post them and I'll do another post. Again, thank you so much for your prayers.

The Daily Report

The Dr's called this morning to say that they have 1 egg that they rate as excellent, 2 excellent/good, and 5 good. This is good news. They think that they will implant them on Monday. Molly is in a lot of pain, as she had to go off of her pain medicine for her endomitriosis. Please continue to pray for her pain level and the eggs! Thanks and we'll keep updating daily.

8 eggs!

Molly just came over and said that the Dr called to say that 8 eggs fertilized on their own. They will call tomorrow to give them a day 2 update. They will implant them on Saturday or Monday. We'll update tomorrow. Thanks for checking in and keep the prayers coming.

Eden's faces

No word yet on Molly's eggs- we'll let you know as soon as we hear something. In the mean time I thought I'd post a few pics that I've been meaning to post for a while now. Eden's started making all sorts of lovely faces- our favorite is the scowl.

Molly and Chach update

So sorry for the delay in posting. For the past few weeks Molly has been taking a lot of different medicines. First she had to take a drug to start her period. She then started taking some different hormones to produce a lot of eggs. These consisted of at least two shots in her belly, morning and night. The side effect of those are a lot of headaches and pelvic pain (due to her ovaries being packed full with eggs). Tomorrow @ 8am they will go in to retrieve the eggs. The Dr's said that they could see 11 eggs last week. They are unsure as to the maturity and quality of the eggs until the extract them. After the retrieval they will watch them to see how they divide and then implant them directly into her uterus 3 or 5 days afterwards. Molly and Chach are both doing well, just nervous about the outcome. Please continue to pray for Molly's health throughout, and a healthy baby (or two) for them to love. Thank you all so much for your continued love and support.

Biscuits!

Eden really loves to cook with us. This was a few weeks ago, but I just had to post these pictures.

As far as things with Molly and Chach- They went in yesterday for their two hour class. Molly will go in tomorrow to have blood work drawn and they will move on from there. The doctors gave them pretty good odds (50% & a 50% chance of twins, which they are fine with). Thank you all for your sweet emails and for thinking and praying for them. We will keep you updated.

Julian, Johanna and Eden

Eden had the pleasure of spending the morning with Julian and Johanna yesterday. Indy not only watched our child but took some great photos of all three kiddos- we owe you big Indy!
