Eden's faces

No word yet on Molly's eggs- we'll let you know as soon as we hear something. In the mean time I thought I'd post a few pics that I've been meaning to post for a while now. Eden's started making all sorts of lovely faces- our favorite is the scowl.

Molly is home now. They were able to get all 11 eggs and said that they would call tomorrow morning to update them on how they are doing. Thanks for all of your prayers.

Molly and Chach update

So sorry for the delay in posting. For the past few weeks Molly has been taking a lot of different medicines. First she had to take a drug to start her period. She then started taking some different hormones to produce a lot of eggs. These consisted of at least two shots in her belly, morning and night. The side effect of those are a lot of headaches and pelvic pain (due to her ovaries being packed full with eggs). Tomorrow @ 8am they will go in to retrieve the eggs. The Dr's said that they could see 11 eggs last week. They are unsure as to the maturity and quality of the eggs until the extract them. After the retrieval they will watch them to see how they divide and then implant them directly into her uterus 3 or 5 days afterwards. Molly and Chach are both doing well, just nervous about the outcome. Please continue to pray for Molly's health throughout, and a healthy baby (or two) for them to love. Thank you all so much for your continued love and support.

Biscuits!

Eden really loves to cook with us. This was a few weeks ago, but I just had to post these pictures.

As far as things with Molly and Chach- They went in yesterday for their two hour class. Molly will go in tomorrow to have blood work drawn and they will move on from there. The doctors gave them pretty good odds (50% & a 50% chance of twins, which they are fine with). Thank you all for your sweet emails and for thinking and praying for them. We will keep you updated.

Colorado- part II

The second part of our trip was spent in Denver with Mike's family. We got to hang out with cousin Lily and that's always fun. Mike's aunt, cousin and grandma came over to bring lunch and Eden slept the day away. I finally woke her up after 3 and a half hours. We tried to get a "reunion" pic of the three kids- it didn't work quite as well this time. Eden wasn't sure why Lily needed her watermelon and Lily wasn't sure why she didn't have any. Eden was excited to eat dinner at Noodles with Grandma before we went to VBS that night. Her new favorite food is mac and cheese. VBS was fun too. Eden loved the songs and kept signing "again, again", and became very upset when they didn't do it. We really had a great trip to Colorado. Eden and I were worn out by the end, but it was fun. There's a lot we didn't even include here, like seeing my dads family (sorry dad, I need some pics from you). Here are a few last pictures of our time in Colorado. We love you all and miss you terribly- Christy, Martha and Lily- can't wait to see you in a few days.

Catchin' Up

We've been a busy little Lair family! The first of this month Eden and I made our way out to Colorado, nothing like family and the Colorado mountains. We had a great time catching up with everyone. On Saturday Mom through a "come and meet Eden" party. It was a great way to get to see a lot of people we hadn't seen in awhile. Mom and I also got to make a trip to Chataqua Park for breakfast- an old tradition. Of course there was swimming, eating ice (Eden and Sammy's favorite) and some ribs and corn on the cob w/ aunty Y and company. More on our trip later, Eden and I are off to the park right now.
